About KJ
I wrote my first story at the age of seven. It was a story about me and my gigantic, overstuffed teddy bear named Brownie. Yes, he was brown. I thought I was being clever with his name. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be a writer.
When I was ten years old, I won a contest and had a short story printed in a local newspaper. I've won several language arts, grammar and writing awards in primary, junior and high school. I've also earned a degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Kentucky.
Several of my short stories and poems have been published online and in print. In November 2004, my first novel, Fanatical Betrayal was published. My second book, My Heart Revealed, A Collection of Poetry and Short Stories followed in 2006. And, One Sweet Dream was published in late 2009.
Mediumship
I'm a writer, yes, but I've also been a medium for my entire life. It came natural to me when I was a child, but I quickly learned to keep this communication quiet and to myself. That was the norm for me up until June 6, 2006 when I began on my spiritual path.
